The EdLight Summer Leadership Program (ESLP) is a selective leadership program that prepares secondary-school students in Haiti to become principled, community-driven leaders.
ESLP has more than 100 alumni across past cohorts. For the 2026 cycle, we plan to select 35 fellows.
Yes. ESLP is fully funded for selected fellows, thanks to support from partners, alumni, and volunteers.
You should apply for the track that best fits your current status. Fellows are secondary-school students; interns are university-level or older.
Alumni join the EdLight network. Many go on to become mentors, ambassadors, or interns with EdLight programs.
ESLP runs primarily online due to the current context in Haiti, with one company excursion in Port-au-Prince and a final in-person presentation at IICA in Pétion-Ville.
You need a computer, tablet, or phone with a camera and stable internet, plus a quiet well-lit space, notebook, and pens.
